The Plough has recently changed hands. The new owner has done an excellent job referbishing the place, it is fresh and inviting. The food is extremely good quality and lovely, as is the menu. We had a brilliant meal. The landlord is also a great host. Highly recommended.

Nice food, but pricy. Beetroot, red onion, fig and goats cheese tart tatin sounded great, it was nearly excellent, but was slightly spoilt by the over powering use of balsamic glaze. Drinks are quite expensive for the local area. Beautiful views from the restaurant look as if they are about to be obliterated by some sort of structure being built?! All of the staff were very friendly and just attentive enough. The service charge being added to the bill grates a bit though. Happy to tip, but don't force it please! Nice to see that someone has put a lot of effort into running the place after a period of having a less than great reputation. Tweak things slightly and it would be spot on. Vegetarian options: A bit more effort than usual made!

Walkability: Lovely walkways to try in the daylight hours. Food & drinks: There's a good choice of food & drinks. The choice is yours. Noteworthy details: Just so pleased we got to go there. Parking: There is work going on outside(during the daily hours). They are expanding round the back, which has a lovely outlook! I'm just so pleased the work has been completed. A lovely place to visit and lovely staff too.
