Not been here for about a year, for no other reason than we dont live nearby. The staff were pleasant, the food was good although smaller portions than expected. The prices were fair and the atmosphere was nice. There was a live jazz band playing (one of the reasons we travelled here) who weren't great TBH and the sounds were distorted too which didn't help. All in all, a nice evening and we would definitely visit again although maybe not seated as close to the band next time, if it's the same guys.

Another enjoyable quiz night attracted a full house. Enjoyed a tasty burger with great chips, one of the 'small plates' on offer. My preference for chunky chips accommodated without question.
