There are few places in the local area or beyond that are truly a fun filled day out for the whole family then The Play Cafe. My partner and daughter had a wonderful time at the soft play using the facilities and interacting with other families while I had fun improving my iron shots on the driving range and we all enjoyed a fantastic meal afterwards. Have recently had a brilliant party here. Great communication throughout the planning and the staff on the day could not do enough . The food was also excellent. The space is perfect for little ones to play , indoors and outside . There is a very large range of toys to provide constant entertainment, including an age appropriate soft play section. Other people at the party have also rebooked this as a venue , and will be revisiting very soon

It is a lovely venue with lots of potential but it is clearly not looked after. I have more toys in my lounge and all the toys that are there are absolutely filthy and/or broken. The soft play part is tiny. There are no staff around, I tried to ring before we came to say we would be late and no one answered. If you are thinking of going, I wouldn’t bother! You’ll have more fun staying at home!

We had a birthday party for our 1 year and 3 year olds, who had a wonderful time. The place was tidy, nicely decorated and spacious enough for 15 kids and their parents. Also, staff were very friendly and helpful! Would highly recommend it.

We had our son’s 4th birthday here and everything was perfect. There were lots of toys for the kids to play with and we hired a bouncy castle from a company they recommended. Perfect communication from the manager too.

My daughter had her 5th birthday here for 26 kids and their parents! Everyone commented on what a great venue it was. The soft play means that kids are never bored - in fact we had to herd everyone out at the end. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and the owners Sam and Mark are an absolute delight and give lots of advice on how to make the party work well. Definitely recommend!
