Lack of empathy towards circumstance passive aggressive phone etiquette, and never fails to leave one feeling worse after every phone call. Was once believed local practices were of the people for the people now it's as if we're all causing disruption to whoever picks up the phone. Regards Karl.

Ever since the best Dr's have retired and this perfectic of virus came along. Getting fed up of this palarva of telling you to wear a mask as most place's don't have to. Rather be I'll than walk in being told to wear a mask as if no mask they give you one. But it's not the Drs, it how the receptionist speak to you and when telling them to phone you about your concernsand opinions of not wearing a mask ad to phone you about the matter as they can't make you, And ordering a prescription by email, they never seem to do that now since hitting the roof, As they never phone back because they know your right as if they too are more concerned for your health, they would phone , but no call back at all. But still Sticking to my guns no matter what's wrong with me, they always put it down to your blood pressure and telling you its all in your head, any wonder when now its all about controlling your life and dictation, until things get back to as they were, would rather keep away . As if any hassle would go over there heads as had enough of being walked over for year's by the nhs. As this is my thoughts only as all Dr's aren't like this as the best have retired and still haven't seen the one I have asked for ever since a Dr I seen has retired.

I suffer fibromyalgia and so have limited energy. I struggle a lot and one thing that would help is if I could order my meds by the computer system I was told frustratingly to use many times. It never worked and only recently I found out it no longer recognises the practice. Lots of wasted time trying to use it. I was given a new log in and told just before bank holiday I would get a pass code which never came. I work and am unable to sit on the phone hours and hours to get through. Anyway bank holiday has been and gone and no passcode. I Rang today and was told they’d sort a script for tomorrow since I’ve ran out of a medication that I’ll feel rubbish for days after I miss. Anyway my husband called into the surgery not knowing I had called by phone, but he was told I can’t have it till Friday so now it’s two days without, so that’s my weekend a write off as I’ll be ill.Two weeks ago I had to bombard the practice with calls and it took two weeks to get some other medication. I can’t even be bothered going into details, I’m mentally, physically and emotionally worn out anyway having this illness without all this on top every time. The doctors I’ve seen recently, Pieri and Fernandez have been good so it’s not all bad. Karen is helpful and a lady with a southern accent on the reception but there was one receptionist a while ago that stared at me like she was looking at a repulsive insect, looking me up and down. She stares without blinking and doesn’t answer, almost like a spoof character of someone on little Britain playing a stereotypical bad receptionist. I’m confident but god knows how someone with anxiety would feel meeting her. I’ve not seen her since. There’s also a nurse that is the reason I won’t go there for blood tests usually because she touches everything, door handles, computer keyboards and gets offended if you ask her to wear gloves because she will palpate your skin for a vein after she touched everything without washing hands, using gel or wearing gloves and makes you feel very uncomfortable after you say something. A patient in this age of pandemics and easily transmissible diseases should feel confident to ask. The phlebotomists at the DRI have excellent hand hygiene, all of them I’ve ever seen so I have to go there to avoid her. Dr Nadeem rang through asking her to see me last time and she complained to me the whole time about it as I wasn’t booked in. Patients don’t want to hear the behind the scenes griping. I wouldn’t have gone in if I’d known it was her. I’ve seen this nurse three times and every time it’s the same, the other nurse there I’ve seen in the past is nice and friendly. I had an ECG recently and that healthcare assistant was lovely too. It’s a shame for the doctors and good staff trying their best when they are let down by a minority of bad colleagues. It’s not all bad here, some staff are really good.

absolutely shocking! receptionists don't appear to know what they're doing. The new online 'booking' system is an absolute joke. Because you cannot pre book anything. When you do eventually get through on the phone to reception, they tell you to call at 8am for an appointment. by 8:15am, all appointments gone!!. Atleast with the old online system you could request/ pre book appointments as they were available, and plan around work/ commitments etc. Since Dr Mckenna, bloore and weller retired, its completely gone down hill. i shall be looking at moving to a practice, where my health is taken seriously. if you're not already registered with this practice, save yourself the hassle, and register somewhere else!!

First of all it takes about 100/300 phonecalls to get through, secondly the staff on front desk couldn’t get any ruder, and thirdly my experience with doctors there (excusing dr pieri) has been inexplicably disgusting. From the age of 4-18 I suffered with bad tonsillitis wether its been bacterial or viral I’ve suffered greatly. However, for them to remove tonsils and perform a tonsillectomy it has to be noted 8 times a year that you’ve had it at the doctors.. which was hard for Dr Fernandez to do apparently. Every time I clearly had tonsillitis she wrote on records I had ‘sore throat’ which lead to delaying rightfully having my tonsils removed. She hasn’t a clue what she’s looking at and that’s embarrassing to say my tonsils were grade 4 (grade 0 = removed, grade 1 = barely visible, grade 2 = visible, grade 3 = big, grade 4 = covering the throat) aswell as that I’ve had problems with anemia and instead of prescribing me the iron tablets I need she proceeded to prescribe folic acid that I didn’t need. The receptionists were meant to get my medical records within a week but when I went to claim them they said they have lost them which was a lie, they just forgot clearly which also delayed my operation. However, thanks to doctor pieri, he vouched to a hospital to get my tonsills removed and has been very good with my anemia he seems to be the only dr there that actually cares about helping clients and can tell what illness clients have.

After trying to get through for over an hour constantly ringing and only getting the message that they are on another call , obviously just not answering. You should as other Doctors do have a call waiting system telling you what number in queue you are.
