Kid-friendliness: Too much kid friendliness, Don't understand why screaming babies & small children having tantrums are acceptable when I've saved up for a "special" meal out for it to be ruined...think it would have been quieter for us to go to McDonald's..... If I stood up & started effing & blinding I would like to think I would have been asked to leave for the sake of paying customers who wanted a relaxing, well deserved, well earnt break from stressed lives...such a pity.... idn't pay that much to be in a Mc Donald's, or was it a kindergarten? Not happy

Service slow (not eating main meal until well after 8pm for 6.30 booking), seafood platter very so-so and charged at ridiculous price [on small print 'sharing' price] with 'lobster' extra and actually was half only lengthwise and the tiniest creature I ever saw described as lobster : The tail meat was less than the volume of my thumb. Fish and chips excellent value rest if meal not even close to good and far too over-priced. Also no oysters which in Whitstable is shameful.

Good service and okay food in a lovely location if you get a window seat looking out to sea. Quite overpriced for what it is. Child portion - one sausage, mash turned up as roasties. Cold veg. Could be much better. Also had to have 2 or 3 courses and was pretty much only roast dinners.
