My friend had her 40th birthday party here and we were all so disappointed with the bar,not all drinks were available along with no shot glasses , being kicked out earlier then expected, long waits on what drinks they did have and had to keep my wine glass and reuse as they had hardly any glasses. Absolutely disgusting they knew they were having a party it was booked well in advance Wouldn't book !!

We booked the function suite for our daughter’s birthday on the 7th May. The person we booked the venue through showed us around and explained we were allowed to bring our own food. She did not mention anything about drinks. We were also told what we were allowed to have in the venue and which part was ours for use on that day. There was no written formal agreement, it was all verbal. We paid a deposit with the remaining balance paid on the day of the party. On thé day of the party, after taking the remaining payment, a bar staff told us we had to remove all our soft drinks within 30 minutes otherwise the party will be stopped and we would be ‘kicked out.’ At this point guests had already arrived, some all the way from London. One of the bar staff was really nice and sympathised with us as we explained this was not mentioned to us at all prior to booking or after booking the venue. She also stated that the same thing happened to another person who booked the same venue a week ago. She then called her manager and when my wife spoke to him he was extremely rude making comments such as, ‘’do you think you can mug me off?’’ ‘’Get out, get out of my venue.’’ My wife was trying to reason with him but he kept on being rude. In the end, we had no option but to remove our drinks and I ended up spending around £200 on soft drinks for my guests. What I want you to take from this review is not the fact that I was forced to buy drinks from the club, or the fact that it wasn’t mentioned at all until after we made the full payment, but the fact that this man who claims to be the manager of the venue is rude, obnoxious and speaks to women in a derogatory manner. I have no problem paying extra or buying £1000 worth of drinks. What I have a problem with is deception, rude behaviour and ultimately the worst customer service I’ve ever been experienced.
