Been here so many times and it’s been amazing but today I was spoken to so so rudely by a female member of staff that I will not be returning. Came in with my baby in her pram and a friend and was greeted by a lovely man who told us to sit anywhere so I did and parked the pram up as close to the table as possible for a woman I’ve never seen before (tall with a short dark pixie haircut) to come over with a horrible look on her face and say “can you move over there so you’re not so in the way taking up all this space” in such a rude tone shooing me away to the corner where there was a dog on its bed in the middle of the floor that I didn’t want to put the pram next to incase I scared it. I challenged her on this and said how rude she was being and got no apology just a defensive attitude honestly it was so passive aggressive I was shocked so left straight away. Such a shame because I’ve never had a problem here before and the food and drinks are always lovely but I just think there was definitely a nicer way of asking if we didn’t mind moving after being told we can sit anywhere and an apology wouldn’t go amiss. It’s actually put me off going again the staff used to be so lovely don’t know what’s happened.

Went here for lunch as all the reviews were very positive, we were not disappointed, all the food was fresh and felt hand made rather than shop or supermarket bought, staff were prompt and pleasant and pricing was very reasonable for the quality we got, will be returning again to try other options on the menu.
