Went for afternoon tea. The price is almost as high as the Ritz, but the experience is nowhere near. It's a cramped space, and it felt like we were sitting in the corridor area. The waiter forgot to bring tea for the first 20 mins (pretty fundamental for an afternoon tea). Then he brought the wrong tea. The bread for the sandwiches wasn't particularly fresh. I had a better coronation chicken sandwich at Costa later. Genuinely disappointing. Oh and half the people there were in hoodies, so don't think it's going to be a classical experience. It won't be.

The savory part of the afternoon tea was delicious!! The service was excellent and the tea and tea selections fabulous!!! The scones were warm and tasty too! The desserts for the afternoon tea were not to our liking it was a floral collaboration and it really did taste like flowers, it was over powering of flower flavors. But they were beautiful! I’m

Had a fantastic pre-theatre dinner here. It was a nice pre set menu and great way to start a night out at the theatre. Very pleasant service with a welcoming decor with windows facing the street. I’ll be back to try the afternoon tea.

I would like to give 6 stars - if that was available… This was my first afternoon tea experience so we spent some time finding a good one… Definitely worth it… The atmosphere - the food, a total experience! One additional advantage is during reservation it is stated that your time slot is 90 minutes, our reservation was at 15:30 and we didn’t have a time restriction…
