I can recommend the Park at Sherwood Forest, everyone made my time there comfortable and stress free. The after care and guidance I received from Fiona the physiotherapist helped me tremendously with my recovery and well being.

Had a knee replacement by Mr Bloch. Within 6 weeks was walking unaided and able to drive. Have to mention the physiotherapist Nick and his team. Extremely essential to attend these classes. They were very useful in aiding my recovery. No pain no gain!

Yesterday I had a full spine and pelvis x-ray at The Park Hospital. I have had numerous issues with my treatment elsewhere, so to say I was stressed due to my clinical history was an absolute understatement. However, Ann-Marie was calming and dealt with this with sensitivity and ensured that I was seen quickly and informed appropriate members of her team that I was incredibly upset and in a great deal of pain. Thank you! What happened next was amazing. Tom the radiographer showed such compassion, he allowed me to change in the imaging room and stood guard outside with Sam to ensure that no-one could get in. Total privacy and dignity was maintained throughout. He spoke to me after the X-rays to check that I was ok to carry on with my day. Thank you so so much for your genuine kindness shown to me when I needed it most. The imaging team at The Park are amazing and I couldn't have been in better hands. If there is an employee of the week/month award then it should go to those named in this review. I went in crying and came out reassured and smiling. Keep doing what you are doing you really are all amazing 10/10

Had a laparoscopic cholecystectomy operation this Tuesday 23rd May 2023. After waiting 20 months on the NHS it was finally time for my operation carried out by the wonderful Mr James Catton, a truly talented and funny man. A brilliant sense of humour with a wonderful bedside manner which many professional people sadly lack these days which is such a shame as it makes all the difference to have confidence in your surgeon and also aids recovery. A big thanks also to the anaesthetist, my mind went blank after counting to 5 so I can't remember your name, but you put me at ease and took away my fears. I'd also like to thank all the lovely people in the ICU unit. Bev and Carol you have such wonderful, empathetic people working with you, you are all truly remarkable. As I mentioned in my previous paragraph bedside manner is very important and you treated me kindly, with respect and made my stay in ICU truly memorable (all for the right reasons of course!). I can't express to you all how much this has meant to me. The park hospital is truly blessed to have you all you are a great team of people who worked well together, a well oiled machine! Thank you so much for taking care of me and putting my partners mind at ease whilst you cared for me. A big thank you to Lara or LaLa as Bev calls her, thanks for the ride to my car and the big hug it meant a lot, I've been very apprehensive about the operation for a few months! Love and kind regards to you all. Rose xx
