Just went to Palms Medical in Newbury Park and was very fortunate to meet the lovely receptionist Amita who was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I hope this surgery employs more staff like Amita. Thank you Amita. 👍

worst medical Centre . this people never answer calls . and all ways says no appointments. just worst. If you're considering making a complaint but need help The Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) is a free, confidential and independent service that you'll find in most hospitals.

I felt ashamed to even give this one star, absolute worse of the worse service and these doctors, I don't think they even have a qualification, they have no idea what they doing. They don't answer their phone like they're too busy having a cup of tea in the back. No remorse and no consideration towards there patients.

I wish giving a 0 was possible. The receptionists are so incredibly rude and disrespectful. They behave so disgustingly. They very clearly don't enjoy their jobs and I wonder why they're even there. It's so awful and upsetting especially if you're having many health problems. Also trying to get an appointment for even the simplest things is a battle even though appointments are max 10 mins. I've been told by the GP to book an appointment to discuss my results as requested by the doctor and literally have been trying since the end of Nov to get an appointment. I've called every week and then every day and honestly it's just ridiculous. After all of that they book me in for a telephone appointment and as always to no surprise the receptionist was so rude. Also they give no particular time, they just say between e.g. 11 to 1 which I think is bad as it's a weekday, people do have jobs and other responsibilities. This GP needs to hire new receptionists that actually care about patient care. It's a shame because the doctors I've seen are kind and helpful. I've been with this GP my whole life and it's been like this for more than 10 years. The majority of the time when I have an issue I try to avoid contacting this GP at all costs unless I'm desperate. I think that says enough. The same with my family. Everytime we know we need to contact this GP we know the struggle that is coming. Surely if every single person registered with this GP feels the same way about the receptionists you would change it.

This is in my view the worst gp practice and I have asked general medical council and others to investigate it, I suggest change your gp avoid this surgery at all costs. If you value life and limb move outside of the area.

I've always had good service here. I know they're overworked at the moment and it's not easy to see someone but I think they're doing a good job

Would give it 0 if possible. Rude and lack of empathy from staff. V. Disappointing. Receptionists and consultants clearly do not enjoy their jobs or caring for others. Wonder why they’re even there tbh other than to make patients feel bad about themselves and/or for asking for help. Some patients find it hard enough asking for help without these staff making them feel worse.
