Rooms: Room 4 is a good size with a comfy queen bed, powerful shower, fluffy towels, opening windows, tea and coffee making facilities (if you run out just ask and they will top you up), hanging space for clothes, hairdryer, toiletries, desk and tv. Nearby activities: Visit the Romsey Abbey, King John's House and Tearooms, the 'canal' walk, Corn Market. The weekday market was a bit disappointing but lots of cafes and restaurants. Walkability: Ten minute walk from the railway station.

Extreamly happy with our stay at The Palmerston Rooms. Before arrival we made contact to see if we could get in early as we were attending a wedding in town and the owners were very accommodating. The Room The room was nice, clean, comfortable plus tea coffee and biscuits were provided which was a nice touch. Breakfast We were asked to make a choice for breakfast and what time we would like it this night before which was fine. Breakfast in the morning was nice, good portions, served timely, very happy. Overall the stay was great, the owners are lovely and we would stay again if we were in the area.
