I can not recommend Amanda highly enough. I found her when I was at my lowest - I have a chronic myofascial pain condition because of a car accident and my pain had moved into my feet. I wasn’t able to walk and I thought my life was over. Amanda was calm, positive and went immediately to every part of my body that was tight and needing releasing. The treatment felt amazing and over a few weeks the results were unbelievable. I can now walk again, run after my toddler and live my life. She has helped release pain in other parts of my body and most of all she has given me hope. I see her every month and I really look forward to it. She honestly works miracles!!

My experience with the Pain Care Clinic commenced with a ten minute free treatment with Amanda at York Heath Fayre. The result was so impressive that I bought the book and Balls there and then. The book is equally impressive, so absorbing for a text book and written in clear everyday language. Attending the workshop gave practical experience in the methods of employing the balls for self treatment, a totally relaxing and enjoyable day being guided by an empath in a very professional manner. I cannot speak too highly of this course, this system and this practitioner. Thank you Amanda.

I attended Amanda’s workshop on Myofascial Release. Her teaching style is very clear, gentle and fun. Amanda’s book is easy to follow and full of excellent activities for self-help. The experiential workshop helped me to “get” the stretches and the method of MFR into my system much more than just reading and following the instructions in the book. I recommend both the book and the workshop. I also had a one to one session with Amanda, and I am looking forward to following this up with a series of 4 weekly sessions.

I attended one of the Pain Care Clinic workshops with Amanda after suffering a slipped disc a year ago. I have to say that it was excellent as the techniques that we were taught were excellent and the explanation of how the different bits in the body worked was perfect as I could understand what was happening to my muscles. I would definitely recommend this workshop and Amanda to others who are suffering from pain.

I was suffering from ongoing post-operative abdominal pain which had been mentioned casually by a surgeon at one consultation as myofascial pain. My husband remembered this term and through some research fortunately found Amanda’s website. At the time of my first visit I was not only suffering physical pain but I was also fragile emotionally. Naturally I was nervous but after the first session I felt an improvement not only in my physical symptoms but also in my emotional state. In fact I would say that I felt my emotional wellbeing improved after each visit. Amanda was incredibly calming and took time to explain what was going on inside my body in terms of my physical healing in ways that none of the medical physicians had. This reassured me that my pain and length of time it was taking me to recover was natural, although I’m certain my visits to the clinic have significantly reduced my recovery time. Amanda is very professional in her approach and clearly understands myofascial release well. I would recommend that anyone with a chronic pain condition to visit her clinic. I feel really fortunate to have found her.
