This practice is appalling, in every aspect. They have recently completed an assessment on my daughter for autism and disregarded any information or communication provided to them in favour of their mother, a known liar to authorities. They’ve taken the easy was in conducting this assessment without going through the past experiences of how my daughter has managed to get where she is today. Nicola made me aware my daughters mother was a safeguarding concern after listening to me, this was later rejected and disregarded in favour of completing a report. The assessment is bias, untrue and completed by people who quite righty aren’t professional. If your child is in a similar situation and being referred here, ask to change, please.

I attempted to report criminal offences affecting my medical records to the Autism team at the Owl Centre. The Autism Owl Centre is run by Nicola Lathey, who suddenly became very abusive herself and caused instant termination of therapy. Nicola further refuses to release SAR requested information of those reports to her and her team. I intend to take The Owl Centre to Court in the near future.

Nicola is extraordinary. We were very concerned about our little boy when he wasn't speaking at 2. The wait on the NHS was huge so we went to Nicola. In a very short space of time she knew exactly what was wrong and has been our little boy's speech therapist for three years. She is a constant source of encouragement and support. We honestly would have been so lost and so very worried if we hadn't come to her. Our son is doing so well and has made extraordinary progress thanks to Nicola. He still has a journey to go and she will continue to be very much part of this. My son adores her and works his little socks off for her every time he has a session. She really is an inspirational lady and a phenomenal speech therapist. She has years of experience and is full of wisdom.
