It was our first time camping so picked this site as its not too far from home. It was clean and tidy and staff were nice however the website suggests that they have a warm, outdoor swimming pool open from May to September (usually 3 sessions a day).We solely picked this campsite based on the pool use for our 7 year old son as he loves swimming and the weather was due to be warm and sunny. We arrived and the staff were friendly and nice but when i asked about the pool, they said it was not open as yet and wont be open until the last weekend in May, this was hugely disappointing as the website clearly states open from May to September. I actually saw some kids walking up towards the pool in their swimsuits and i had to advise the parents that it was closed their sad little faces as they turned around broke my heart the same with my son so because of this we will not be returning. Please do not advertise use of something if its not actually available to use.
