Great place to have a filling breakfast or a light lunch or just have a coffee and cake. Decor is fun and quirky, staff are marvellous and the sunny secluded garden is a delight. The Sunday lunch is superb value and absolutely delicious 😋. Dog and family friendly to!! Whats not to like?😎

We visited today for the first time since the new owners reinvented the Millstones. They have achieved a perfect balance of coffee shop/restaurant/carvery. Quality, locally sourced food and reasonable prices combined with friendly staff and good service......don't change a thing, you've got it just right and deserve every success.

I would like to add to my previous reviews and say: My friend and I enjoyed an excellent carvery last Sunday. Highly recommended. Thanks again to Teresa Having visited the Outside Inn today I am delighted to amend the review that I wrote initially. The owners were very welcoming and the ambiance is lovely. If you are looking for a local coffee shop then look no further. Home made food consisting of soup, hot snacks and cakes. In addition, I have to say I've never previously praised toilets, but these I give 5 stars! I have absolutely no hesitation in making my recommendation and look forward to my next visit. Very disappointed when we arrived at the Inn at 3.00pm today 4 January to find it closed. It had appeared to be open when I checked the website The owner says they were open. I'm sorry if you think my review unfair but we really thought you were closed. We tried doors at the front and looked for an entrance. It was pouring with rain so maybe our fault. There is a sign for reception at the back of the building but we didn't think that was the right entrance. I promise to try again

Friendky welcome but very Poor service, two main meals ordered.arrived 20 minutes apart.. No explanation. the burrito was still frozen. Coffee order was wrong too. It was very quiet , si that was not the issue. Will not be returning.

This place is a really different one off place and great to visit. The food is really good, in particular Sunday lunch. We were only in the area for a week and ate there 3 times. Second time for afternoon tea and third for breakfast. The dining room is full of querky items and fun to look at. The owners were SO very friendly and they've chosen their waiting staff well as they are all helpful, polite, friendly and fun. I'd happily recommended anyone to go there and I just wish we lived closer because we'd be regular customers!! Go and enjoy the lovely place, I'm positive you won't be disappointed 😁👍
