Firstly, the hotel is beautiful and the location is perfect for getting around London. The decor is stunning and facilities like the pool and bar are really fabulous. The girl who looked after us at check in and check out couldn’t have been nicer. However, the bed in the room really ruined the stay for us. You couldn’t even gently sit on it without it creaking HORRIFICALLY. I have never ever complained in a hotel in my life (have worked in retail/hospitality so unless there’s something really bad I don’t bother staff and know what it’s like to have fussy customers) but I said it reception and showed a video. They sent an engineer while we were out but it didn’t sort anything. Was the exact same. I contacted the House Jacks again with another video and didn’t hear anything back. I was so upset as we wouldn’t typically have the money to stay in a luxury hotel and I’d saved up to treat my partner. Not exactly the romantic weekend I had planned! If you’re paying over €300 a night then you should expect a decent bed at minimum. I couldn’t fault anything else in the room but being unable to get a decent sleep really really ruined the weekend for us. We spent just over €900 for the 3 nights and I felt a bit robbed when we left knackered and with no solution to the complaint. Girl at check out apologised and was lovely but there was nothing she could do at that stage. *update. The hotel followed up with us after our stay and gave us a complimentary weekend. It was very unexpected and excellent customer service. Room was perfect this time around and we had a gorgeous stay.

Really great place to stay! The room was specious and had all the needed amenities - kitchen corner, big fridge, a sofa to sit after a long walking day in London. The bed was big and comfy. Bath amenities were of high quality. Staff is incredibly friendly and useful. The room is super clean, and we got it perfectly cleaned every day. The location is amazing, very close to Gloucester Road metro station, and the area is very safe. Some amazing restraints are very close to the property.
