  Arrived on time , well priced I purchased the frame & mattress together. Very pleased well packaged Easy to assemble, I managed on my own 2 people would be better. My only criticism is that when assembles 4 small alloy bolts are visible, small but still visible. OBC why don't you supply 4 plastic covers cost you nothing other wise great purchase

  I’ve had nothing but hassle since I have purchased this bed!! First they sent me a bed that was faulty (literally the bed could not be put together!!) then they sent me a new one and leave the faulty bed with me for 3 months before picking it up. Now A few months down the line I’m having to deal with this bed which is squeaking so badly it’s effecting my sleep. When I called up today to explain the situation the receptionist was condescending and passive aggressive also she said she was baffled by my situation she actually used the word baffled 23 times on the call. It’s unacceptable customer service and I’m very disappointed

  Would have given 5 stars but had a few minor issues. I was told I did not tell them which fabric I wanted but I did in fact email them when I ordered. Once I confirmed this the bed was made really quickly and delivered in a week, but it took over 3/4 weeks to inform me that I needed to confirm my fabric choice, which delayed things by a month. Not a major issue but we chose obc because of their quick delivery times. But even though it arrived in 4 weeks that's still way quicker than other places. John lewis take 3/4 months to make and deliver! Anyway the upholstered bed and mattress arrived and its excellent quality. My daughter loves the bed. It's upholstered beautifully and finished to a very high standard. Took a while putting it together with all the screws. My only criticism is that compared to another company called Button and sprung who also do very similar beds, they actually assemble and deliver for free which would have been great. However the obc mattress we bought is really great because its 2 sided so you can turn it and get even wear. This was a plus point for me because so many mattresses are nowadays only one sided. I also requested a lighter shade of legs rather than the dark brown they have on all their beds and this really makes the bed look modern. They should tell you that you can go for different leg colours because it nearly put me off from buying the bed in the first place! Overall, super pleased with the bed and mattress.

  I imagine this is a fantastic bed, however, without the correct screws I will never get to enjoy its wonders. It arrived without instructions and with parts missing. When I requested the absent screws be sent in the post, I was met with both reluctance and bafflement. After reiterating that not all the necessary screws were in the box, more were sent out, but sadly still not the ones I needed! I imagine blissful sleep in my new bed but that sadly feels like a pipe dream at this point.

  Bed frame arrived covered in dust, I Can also feel dust particles in the headboards paintwork ! poor welds on the side supports also attached off centre ! uneven slats, cut down headboard with rust on joints ! creaky bed ! waited over 13 weeks for the bed frame! Bed seems nice but unfortunately poorly manufactured.

  I was a little skeptical about the quality of the bed initially as the price was fairly low in comparison to many similar beds on the market but their website won me over as well as all the positive reviews online. The bed is fantastic; super quality and really simple to put together unlike lots of cheaper priced beds that seem to have a million parts. I'd really recommend OBC and would 100% buy again.

  I've put a video because I found it hard to find a good real-life picture of the OBC Tulsk bed (superking) in the ivory colour. Took a slight risk in ordering it as I was unsure if it'd be too cream or shiny - so glad that it isn't. The paint job was the first thing that struck me - the paint looks luscious in its application, and you can see from the video it's near-white. We have another cast-iron/brass bed which has served us well for 20+ years, but this bed feels even sturdier, if that's even possible. Partly because the slatted frame is its own thing and it doesn't use the bed ends for its structure. I was pleasantly surprised the slat frame is also the same colour. The bed was made-to-order, they gave a lead time of 8-10 weeks, it arrived within 9. Construction was straight forward, though I'm used to my other bed. It is paired with a latexsense opulence mattress (we've used this mattress for several years). One slight issue was the sprung slats are not polished, which does make it hard hoiking the mattress onto it. Another issue was the underbed drawers had a weird powder on some of it which threatened to stain our carpet - nothing a wipe down couldn't fix. The bed looks incredible. I've slept one night in it - it is rock solid, no creaks.

  We live in France and recently ordered two iron beds from the Original Bed Company, one of them custom painted. Every contact with the company was excellent, with prompt and clear responses to our questions. The company met all of their commitments and the beds arrived as promised. Properly packed and protected, both beds are superbly engineered. They were straightforward to put together with easy to follow instructions. There was even a small bottle of touch in paint for the custom painted bed. We couldn't be happier. Absolute recommendation.
