I worked here for 6 months. I went into this job with real ambition to help and be part of this school and its community only to be treated unfairly and pushed aside for other people. 6 months I was a supervisor (only to get my foot in the door for a TA position which they seemed keen for me to enter when it became available) I was a fully qualified teaching assistant when I started and worked as a supervisor for 6 months only for 2/3 positions to be filled by woman who had only worked there for 2-3 weeks! The job opportunity was only advitised to certain members of staff and hidden from me. I asked why this was not advitised (equal opportunities, etc) and they played the ignorant card and said they knew nothing about it when other members of staff told me they did... joke ha. Also a side note. They would ring me up regularly and be frustrated why I wasn't attending work yet they never asked me too. Not organised. Anyway never working in the 'school industry' again as it wasn't a nice experience. Really unfair and hate to say it but rather sexist. (Being the only guy in my department) I hate to leave a bad review on this school as like I said I wanted to be part of it but this was my experience... (Side note: Most of the staff I met and esspecially the reception team were helpful, kind and supportive)
