I’ve been to this cafe several times and it’s always a really relaxing, fun experience and decor feels a bit trendy (although caveat, not relaxing on a bank holiday Monday!) The coffee is really decent for a garden centre cafe, the cakes are awesome with a huge selection inc cookies, doughnuts, cheesecake etc. It’s light, bright, easy to order at the till and you’re brought your food pretty quickly. I’ve knocked a star off as I do think the meals are oversized. You get value for money yes but my butternut squash salad (very tasty) easily had almost a full bag of greens in it which while healthy just felt a bit overwhelming. My iced latte was also massive and ended up just tasting of milk. I’d happily pay a bit less and get a bit less. Other than that, love the place. Kid-friendliness: Small selection of fairly typical food choices for kids. Offers penne pasta with peas and nice alternative to fried food

Had a ploughman's a few weeks ago was amazing. Ordered one today very disappointing looked as though someone had been eating it before it came to our table and didn't look fresh. Looked as though it had sat around for a while.

The store overall is fun, the tea house ordering concept I find less attractive to wait in line (only two cashiers) I am literally standing 25minutes in line to order, with then another wait to bring my order to the table. Wrong order taking process. Otherwise, lovely place.
