Rooms: Were outdated and carpet throughout, which made it difficult to propel and mobilize. Food & drinks: There was an Asda five minutes away, but there was no choice in the canteen and more money should be prioritized for the chef.

This hotel is pretty bad, double rooms are just singles pushed together, cups in the room were disposables cups and dirty whilst my friends room had proper cups. No mattress protectors, no pillow protectors, dirty, stained duvet. The room came complete with a grime ridden kettle. The check in desk is at the stadium where the staff are rushed off their feet running a stadium for customers. Check in was rushed and minimum info told to us and thrown out key cards. Departure day ..early morning we went to the stadiums cafe because we saw on the internet it opened at 8am, we was met by a member of staff fiddling with the goggles in reception. Whilst I wandered towards the cafe she shouted 'you can't just walk in' my partner had the key card in hand at this point but she chose to judge is like we were there to commit a crime! I have complained to the Stoke Mandeville stadium operations manger but the response was very much to be desired. I wouldn't go back here even of I was sponsored to! The area of Stoke Mandeville and Aylesbury are lovely though and the Olympic lodge is a let down.
