Now called The Harp... it's great that The Lion's Head has reopened as a boozer again. My pint of Madri was excellent and Walkers cheese and bunion always a winner. Come on in, East Ipswich - we need more pubs!! Maybe an open mic night, folk club, quiz night would re-kindle a local pub vibe. We need this pub!!! Support it!😃👍🍺 Service : 4/5 | Location : 5/5 … More

The hotel looks OK from the outside, through the window it looks even better, unfortunately I couldn't get in and the phone number sounds like it's been diverted to another country... And nobody answered..... So I paid again at travelodge and stayed there.... Went to the hotel again the following day, nobody there, phone still just rings out. I'm sure it's a lovely hotel and by all accounts the reviews are fairly good... Is this a reverse escape room, where you have to follow clues to get you into a locked hotel lol 😂 I can review the car park : nice black tarmac, lovely matching dropped kerb entrance way, and the warming / snug sodium lighting from the council street lights really kicked things off nicely.

£75 for a no frills room, with no cooked breakfast! However I was told toast and cereal was available, the bread was on a table in unsealed packet and 10 days out of date, there were 2 fridges neither had milk for the cereal! This place has a sign outside saying as seen on TV, lol
