We got married in the Westminster room on Saturday. The building and room is absolutely stunning and our registers were so friendly - our photographer pointed out that in other boroughs this is not the norm! I had a very last minute panic that I didn’t want to sit in my dress and have photos taken due to feeling self conscious and they kindly agreed to do the signing of register in an adjoining room which I was so grateful for. I would say, the rest of the staff were friendly but very assertive with telling you when to move on and out of the way. We were told off several times. We only took 4 formal photos on the steps but for fourth one we were told to move so this had to be done elsewhere. Our server had no hymns or readings and no exchange of rings so I don’t know how longer weddings manage with photos! They have many weddings to get through and so it did feel quite rushed but for us this didn’t detract and we do not regret marrying in Marylebone. It is a stunning venue and really special for us and our guests who all loved it.

Got married there yesterday. Don't have words to describe how amazing everyone was. Gary, our registrar, was simply incredible. He was so helpful and made us totally at ease. It is a seamless operation and everything was organised to perfection. And of course, the venue is simply stunning.

Booked a town hall for the wedding and decided to rebook it for a smaller one. Was promised 2 times already that someone will give me call, 1 month later still waiting… my request has been marked as urgent, but apparently this is not good enough to return a call back and sort the issue

Iconic Landmark Grade II Listed building, it was an old court house. Officially opened by Prince Albert on 27 March 1920. Beautiful ornamental rooms to hire for marriages. Perfect!

The Old Marylebone Town Hall is an iconic spot to get married at - I am there frequently as a wedding photographer and it's always such a special spot to visit. It's beautiful and tasteful inside, with fresh seasonal floral displays and Jo Malone home fragrances used throughout. The Registrars are always wonderful, kind and considerate and the place is run very efficiently to keep everything on time at busy weekends. The steps are obviously famous, but as well as the classic confetti shot, the stonework either side has some gorgeous light. I also love using some of the side streets near the Town Hall for photos.
