Never again- unfortunately, I won’t be going to the manor again, this isn’t entirely down to the establishment it’s self, rather their car park. I purchased a car park ticket to park, as it was a friend’s birthday & they had decided for us all to eat at the manor to celebrate, there was around 20 of us. I have now received a parking fine, it’s not clear as to why I have the fine, I did purchase a ticket & did reimburse the cost at the manor. I called the manor to try & have the ticket cancelled but they would help & suggested that I may have stayed over the time purchased. You don’t really plan on how long you are staying somewhere nor do you clock watch when you are out celebrating with friends & family. I said I imagine you get quite a lot of complaints regarding the parking situation, which they said they do but usually because the machine is working correctly, I said it isn’t good for business. They wouldn’t cancel my fine & didn’t seem to care that this has put me off using their establishment. Very expensive evening now thanks to the fine.

If you're driving here, there's a car park on site. An impressive historic building with a pleasant atmosphere. Good service and generous portion of salad to accompany my jacket potato lunch.
