Visited today, on probably the coldest day this year so far. Service was very friendly & helpful. It was a little chilly so we kept our coats on. We were rather hoping the old range would be fiercely burning away but no such luck 😆. I looked online for a menu and found one which said there was a vegan sandwich & a vegan ‘sausage roll’ available (I couldn’t find their menu on their website but I’ve since found it 🙄), but it was from a year ago and sadly they offer neither of those any longer. Thankfully they had a delicious butternut soup for me which I enjoyed very much. No cake for me so I had to have a bag of Metcalfes popcorn which they sell. My sister had a lovely large slice of homemade cake which she said was a bit big for her - but she ate it all anyway.

No cheese and no potatoes, which is most of their menu, we only found overheating when someone else ordered, surely that's the kind of thing to tell people straight away!

Visited on the recommendation of a friend. Lovely location, very pleasant courtyard area beside the tea room. Excellent watermelon and feta salad, nice pot of tea, very nice lemon cake. Not cheap bit excellent quality, nicely presented, and plentiful. Worth the visit, and I would recommend, I will visit again soon.
