We had the most unpleasant experience at this restaurant. We pre-booked months in advance, and were seated at a table right next to the toilets. The food was mediocre, the service was painfully slow, and the staff were incredibly rude. Our request to have the service charge removed was met with an aggressive question from one staff member - who, as it turns out, was the owner's daughter. The girl even said "the reason the service was slow is because your server cut their finger." - Had we been warned about this beforehand, maybe we would have been a little more aware and understanding. We raised the issues with the owner but she didn't even apologise. Avoid this overhyped restaurant at all costs.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a while and I thought it was very reasonable for the amount we had. We had the Bloody Mary Oysters and scallops with n’duja to start - unbelievably flavoursome. The monkfish with lentil Dahl again was amazing, the monkfish was grilled and the Dahl had a lovely flavour too. Decadent lobster Mac and cheese and had the Caesar salad on the side. Followed by sticky toffee to share and a bottle of white wine, we left very full and the bill was £130ish including service! Very friendly and helpful staff 😊

Went to this restaurant because it was recommended. From the moment we walked in we felt rushed. Woman (owner?) Was very short with us. I told her I had a food allergy, and she let me order a starter with that ingredient in it. The young man who brought it was very apologetic and lovely. Offered to let us keep the original starter and order another one. We declined that and my husband ate the starter. When we got the bill we were charged for the starter anyway. Yes, he ate it but we never would have ordered it had we known the ingredients. The dinners were very good. But the whole experience there was not positive due to woman who seemed to be running the show (came over multiple times to clean other tables and every time she had her backside in our table. Did not even acknowledge we were there). Would not go back

Frankly, overpriced and service was not great. We had an 20h resy and was seated by the toilet. The server didn’t make any suggestions. We ordered 2 starters and a steak to share amongst the 3 of us. They brought everything out at the same time. Unfortunately it wasn’t enough for us so we ordered an additional pork dish. That put us over. It was rich, heavy, creamed spinach with a cheesy mashed potato and then lots of pork belly. No dessert because we were so stuffed. Food was okay but not sure if it’s a repeat place.
