Lovely pub traditional style. A great selection of ales and the biggest cheese and onion cobs. Loved popping in there. Parking both sides of the pub but not many spaces. We went at about 1.30 and there was plenty of spaces. Lovely quick lunch.

I was pleased to see when backcountry ales took on this pillar of the community, the pub has been there for decades and I thought this is just what it needs keep going. I arrived at lunch time and there was a private function going on and I appeared to be the only single customer in there, which felt very odd and weird so I just ordered a half. The young lady that served me was prompt, polite and smiling, soon as she served me she went straight back round the other side of the bar??? Another woman was stood in the hatch on her phone, I can only assume it was the manager, she never came up from here phone, when a customer came to the bar she called the young lady to serve them???? The poor girl was being pulled between 2 bars with a full pub for a private function. The pub looks great, the ale wasn't to the usual standards of a blackcountry Inn, it was green and warmer than it should be. Sorry to say my first experience of the new Bush wasn't great, I hope that on my next visit it will be what a black country Inn is, warm, inviting, well looked after ales served as they are ment to be. I'm looking forward to it, fingers crossed.

An historical pub with a ton of photos showing the local history. I had a good real ale (see photo) for around £4. Would have stayed longer, but couldn't due to driving. Good beer garden, too.
