FAQ
What is the school's accreditation status and how does it impact my career prospects?
At The Oculus, we are accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB). This accreditation ensures that our architecture program meets high standards and provides our students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their careers. Graduating from an accredited program can also enhance your job prospects and enable you to become a registered architect in the UK and beyond. Can you provide information on the faculty's experience and industry connections?
Our faculty at The Oculus are highly experienced architects and academics who have worked on a variety of projects in the industry. They bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the classroom, and many have strong connections with architecture firms and organizations. Our faculty's industry connections provide valuable networking opportunities for our students and can assist with job placement after graduation. What resources are available for students to gain practical experience in the field?
At The Oculus, we offer a range of resources to help our students gain practical experience in the field of architecture. Our program includes a variety of hands-on projects, studio work, and site visits to provide students with real-world experience. We also have a dedicated architecture lab with the latest technology and software, as well as opportunities for internships and work placements with local firms. What is the student-to-faculty ratio and class size?
We maintain a low student-to-faculty ratio at The Oculus to ensure that our students receive personalized attention and support. Our average class size is around 20 students, and our faculty-to-student ratio is approximately 1:12. This allows for a collaborative and interactive learning environment where students can engage with their peers and receive individualized feedback from their instructors. What is the total cost of the program and are there any financial aid opportunities available?
The total cost of our architecture program at The Oculus varies depending on several factors, including whether you are a UK/EU or international student and whether you are studying full-time or part-time. We do offer financial aid opportunities, including scholarships, grants, and student loans, to help offset the cost of tuition. We encourage all students to explore these options and speak with our financial aid office to determine what options may be available to them.Reviews

Very modern architecture! A glass building and looks impressive, especially at night with some cool lighting.

This is a powerful, indeed mighty, example of great contemporary British architecture. The whole building breathes excellence, this is even noticeable walking on the carpets that treat your feet to a first class walking experience that is appropriate for a world class Woxbridge university. The smile of the Barista in the cute little café melts my heart every time I'm going there (I mean the brunette one, not the guy, Tobias, who is quite rude and has to work on his latte art skills). This place has become an important point of reference, I often just go there to indulge in the pleasure of beautiful clean material, and I once even took a Tinder date there which was a massive success. I can only suggest that you produce little Oculus assembly kits for fellow crafty students so they can build themselves a little Oculus for their desk to be motivated by its splendour. I would definitely charge my student assistant with doing one for my bedside table. Usually I'd ive five stars without even thinking, but sometimes the premises are plagued by mobs of students studying unproductive subjects. This is annoying and doesn't reflect the greatness of this place. Love, Herald
