We are still on an absolute high after celebrating our wedding at the Oakwood at ryther last Saturday. I wish we could do it all again! From the very first time we stepped foot into The Oakwood at Ryther we knew it was our venue! Simply stunning… The barns are already elegantly styled so very little needs to be done. The entire venue has a relaxed feel yet still oozes luxury. Guests were absolutely blown away and enjoyed exploring the beautiful court yard/garden area. The venue is perfectly sized so guests can roam around without loosing atmosphere! The on-site accommodation is incredible, each room uniquely decorated feeling like a boutique hotel. It was so nice to be able to nip in and freshen up during the evening… just don’t sit down on the comfy beds as you might not want to get back up!! Jess is nothing short of a miracle worker! We had a little wobble early on with timings of the day yet Jess manage to sort everything with no stress at all. Nothing is ever too much to ask! Jess was always on hand to answer queries by email and we felt fully informed through the entire planning process. It was so so lovely to see the venue multiple times in the buildup to the day through the wine tasting events and one-to-one meetings to run through everything. Jess and the entire team were very attentive and made sure the day ran smoothly, we felt so confident in Jess’ ability we were able to relax and enjoy our wedding morning completely stress free. The icing on the cake was the kind, personal touches for our tractor obsessed little boy! We can never thank you enough. Ian and Janine have created the most wonderful venue, every detail is considered. We really felt so welcome, we will never forget our wedding weekend! Would recommend the Oakwood at Ryther to anyone planning a wedding! Thankyou!! Sophie & Dean (and Oliver) xxx

Our wedding weekend at the Oakwood at Ryther was incredible. The venue itself is absolutely stunning: brilliant high spec on-site accommodation for ourselves and our families + bridesmaids/groomsmen. The ceremony barn has a lovely atmosphere and the 'party barn' is great too – lots of space, a big bar and areas to both chill out and party the night away. It's not cheap – but then what wedding venue is? And one or two things didn't quite go to plan (no tablecloths, not allowed a chocolate fountain...) But we don't regret a thing about having our wedding here. Jess and the staff were very helpful and made it a seamless and memorable day for us.

We had our wedding at Oakwood on Easter Saturday 2023. We had the most perfect day, with Jess on hand at all times whenever we needed her. I later found out that one of my bridesmaids was pregnant but didn't want to tell anyone yet, and Jess discretely sorted her out with alcohol free drinks all day, which was a really special and personal touch. The venue itself is beautiful and barely needs any decoration. The accommodation is spacious, and being there the night before with all of the family felt really special. My only criticism would be that at times it would seem that the things we had discussed at one meeting were then forgotten at the next. But Jess was always quick to correct this, and very responsive via email to all of my questions.
