Fabulous Sunday lunch at a great pub that isn't part of a chain. Lovely food served with plenty of vegetables followed by a delicious dessert. It was nice to enjoy a meal and have a conversation without being drowned out by loud music and to be served by lovely staff in a pub that has a nice atmosphere. We will definitely be going there for lunch again.

We had Chicken Burger and Fisherman's Pie both were very nice. Was only on soft drinks as driving home, but the coffee was delicious and the alcohol selection looked decent. Meeting Crackers was also a bonus but I'm not sure our Beagle (it is fig friendly) agreed, he was rather bemused by Crackers noises.

My roast was cold. My husband had the fish pie. It was luke warm. It was very small he was left hungry tiny portion of peas on the side. Service poor. Waited an eternity. Didn't clear table afterwards. Asked for horseradish twice. Asked for dessert menu. They forgot. All in all not a great experience. Oh and cauliflower cheese. Had no cheese just a hot watery bright yellow sauce. With no flavour
