I don't write many reviews, but after our lovely evening here I thought The Oak Bistro deserved a shout out. We had dinner-for-two here on a Saturday night and the food was great, but particularly the service was outstanding. The whole atmosphere is nice and relaxed and doesn't feel like you're being rushed out of your table as is all-too-common (and somewhat understandable) on a busy Saturday night. The staff were all extremely polite and made our evening. The Oak Bistro have it spot-on. All-in-all a great experience and will recommend to anyone who will listen!

Had a family dinner here recently and the experience was very pleasant, so was the service. I had the king prawns starter and the mushroom risotto for my main and both were very tasty. Can't say the same for the chocolate fondant dessert, which unfortunately was overcooked and not very good. However, I would definitely go back for another dining experience at the Oak Bistro.
