The OAD clinic is a breath of fresh air in the way these places used to be run. The staff are consumate proffesionals with the right level of care and support, giving patients the ability to really tackle their own demons without undue coddling and supporting them when needed and allowing them to heal at their own pace. There is no over prescribing which I experienced at other clinics and the staff are really helpful and concerned in a non patronising way. I would recommend the OAD as the best of its kind anywhere for serious proffesionals with a problem that needs medical intervention. Ken Muir

Unfortunately my friend died 2 years ago, non drug related but was on heroin , he was under dr brewer when he was practicing, this place used to be called stapleford center, I don’t believe the negative attention this place had and now as it stands they only offer methadone which is harder to get off than heroin, been clean 7 weeks after being in a nhs hospital, apparently they don’t give morphine sulphate anymore, my mate was getting it up till his death just before lockdown. Has the bad publicity of this place that changed its named banned by the government. The only difference to the nhs is a injection monthly. Costly but is this the only treatment different from nhs?

It can be daunting seeing a psychiatrist. Not Oscar ,he was empathetic explained concisely, which resulted in me feeling Confident that I can self manage my condition . I've seen many psychiatrist Dr Oscar puts one at ease with a complex condition is bipolar depression.

The OAD saved my life literally- Doctor Oscar Agnone and his clinician Jordana Lawes and the entire team were WONDERFUL- they got me off narcotic dependence and enabled me to restart my life. They are the best organization: efficient, professional, patient and incredibly kind and caring. I am so so grateful to them and I reccomend them highly!

The OAD clinic is by far the best clinic I have been to on 2continents. The staff embodies what it means to have compassion and commitment to the well being and betterment of us(the patients) Soriah and the other patient coordinators there(I'm certain one is an actress as well ) go above and beyond every hour of every day for the patients. They are not judgemental nor do they act as if they are above the patients on a humanity scale (like most other clinics do) . Dr. Oscar is the nicest man and Doctor I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I.was not expecting him to receive me with such openness, understanding, and care. He actually took the time to sit down with me as a patient and TALK TO ME RATHER THAN TALK AT ME. I was and continue to be incredibly wowed by his professionalism and compassion. Thomas the director has actually spoken with me to see how I am doing and how my progress is going. It was he himself who actually helped me get started at the clinic. The director!! I have never known anyone with that type of position to help out as he does. I was truly shocked in such a great way. The OAD clinic does not see positions and job titles as a hierarchy of who's who and who's better than who. Something that more businesses and healthcare as a whole should take watch and learn from. I hope that this clinic continues to.grow and that more patients are made aware that this clinic is who should be setting the standard for care GLOBALLY.
