Very welcoming. Had room 14 which was very clean but regretfully no signal for the Tele which was compensated by 2 free glasses of wine and was washed down with a nice turkey roast dinner. It was extremely nice to stay at the New Inn at Clapham. A very good vegetarian breakfast but can I suggest the addition of a vege sausage then it would be perfect. Walkability: Great for a walk to Ingleborough or Ingleborough Nature Trail.

We stayed for two nights last weekend to walk the Yorkshire Three Peaks, we dined at the pub on one of the evenings, the food was great though veggie/vegan options are very limited. The location of the inn is fab, in a beautiful village with amenities, and in close proximity to larger villages. We stayed in a luxury double, the room was spacious with lots of natural light, and it was very clean. Unfortunately we did not sleep well as the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was heavily dented and needs replacing. We didn't raise this at the time as we assumed a new mattress wouldn't be purchased straight away, and that all rooms would be similar. I was hoping to provide feedback direct upon checkout but there wasn't any staff around at the time. This is the only thing that would prevent us from returning, everything else was great.
