I have been a regular at this salon for some years. Natalie trims my hair on a monthly basis and does a very good job. On Friday, I was booked in at 10:30, but unfortunately I completely forgot due to other pressing engagements. Natalie rang me to ask where I was and I apologised and asked if she could fit me in later. She said she could fit me in the next day in between colouring someone else’s hair. I visited the salon on Saturday and after my 15 minute dry trim (normally £25) I went to the till and I was told I would have to pay £50 as I had missed an appointment. I told them how disappointed I was and at a time when things are really difficult. I would have expected a reprimand and a reminder that next time if I forgot I would be charged double.
