Visited the Stud on 19 April as part of a coach tour. Lovely place with immaculate grounds, large spacious paddocks and most important of all, well cared for horses. Our guide Larry, very humorous and knowledgeable. The tour included the Stallion Yard where we saw a couple of the stallions in their individual paddocks. Then the covering barn, where Larry explained the breeding process. The highlight was seeing Stradivarious and getting to take photos. At the end , we met 2 retired horses, Tin Man and Lord Windermere, who happily lapped up the attention, and enjoyed plenty of polo's!!! Thanks for great visit.. Thinking of returning in the not too distant future!😀😀

Highly recommended. Excellent tour with Malcolm, who was friendly, funny and down to earth. You don't need to have any interest in racing, just a like of horses to enjoy this spectacular place. It was great to get up close and personal with some of the mares and foals. (visit in (Jan)/Feb/March/(April) to see mares and foals) Really good value for money.

We have had a brilliant tour of the national stud, with our guide Frankie. She was so knowledgeable and still really interesting. I would recommend this for anyone, not just those interested in racing. Then lunch at the tack room.. recommended by our guide.
