Unfortunately I had a really disappointing experience here yesterday. The staff weren’t friendly, I felt like an inconvenience and they seemed desperate to get my manicure done quickly and me out the door. When I arrived I was greeted by someone shouting at me for my name and then telling me “wash your hands in the sink”. No further greeting or instructions and I assumed I should just find somewhere to sit and pick a colour. I was trying to chose between a few colours and asked if I could see them quickly on my nails to help me decide (different colours suit different skin tones) and they said it will look the same as on the display and seemed annoyed that I’d asked them to do this. Instead of soaking off my current gels they used some drill on my nails and seemed cross with me about having to do that (I’d had a gel manicure a few weeks prior at a different salon). I chose a glitter gel and asked if it would be better over the top of a solid colour but they swiftly told me it’s supposed to go on its own. I had three layers (they seemed like they only wanted to do two) and my nails are still see-through. I also had a badly filed nail that I’ve had to file down at home as it was broken under the gel. At once point I almost asked them if I’d done something to offend them, because they were so unfriendly, but decided to just keep quiet and say thank you. I’d been to this place once before and had a better experience so it was a shame to have such a bad experience this time.

I never leave reviews myself but always find them useful when looking for somewhere new and I thought that it’s only fair I share my own experience when I’ve used somewhere new. I have been looking for somewhere to get my nails done particularly as I am getting married soon and wanted to find a nice nail salon to do my wedding nails. I have been to this salon twice now, once to get a full set of acrylics and then for infills. When I first got my full set done I was fairly happy with the nails, they looked pretty, not exactly what I asked for but still nice. Unfortunately one of the acrylic nails started lifting after about a week and a half, it was painful because it kept getting caught on things and lifting more. I still went back for infills as I put it down to getting the nails quite long the first time. I had the nails a lot shorter when I got my infills and it’s been 2 weeks since I got them done and one of the nails, a different one this time, has completely come off. It’s a shame because the staff are actually really nice but the nails just don’t last. I won’t be going back. Service: Manicure

I always had impeccable service here. Not so keen about my last visit though. I was asked to moisturise my hands by myself after the manicure and obviously the expected hand massage wasn’t included either. A bit disappointed ..
