  David came out to design and quote for new bedroom furniture. We had to chase things up after a couple of weeks and we’re told he was very busy. Still no response- very poor service. Anywhere, maybe a blessing as an efficient and customer focused competitor of yours provided a solution. We are not only happy with the work but we’ve also had them fit a new bathroom. A significant loss of business to yourselves. There is no excuse for not keeping the client updated even if you have operational difficulties. We’ll never ever recommend your firm.

  So disappointed by the way my mum was treated by this company when she contacted them in Spring this year for a quote for a new bathroom, new kitchen, and new side extension with utility room and front hallway. Clearly not a small job, so we didn't for one minute think that it was something they'd consider to not be worth their while. My mum's initial phone-call to them to arrange a date and time for David to come out consisted of her being pushed repeatedly to advise her budget. This wasn't just asked once, but multiple times, and to the point where my mum was feeling harassed and uncomfortable. She had only just moved into her bungalow, and with a lot of renovation work required, she had no idea at that point of a set budget for each area. I ended up having to take the phone off her and ask the Home Design Studio why it was essential for them to know how much money she had to spend. I was fobbed off with, 'it's so we know which brochures to bring'. The appointment was made, David came out and reviewed the work that needed doing and said he would come back to my mum with a quote. He also said that he would provide contact details for someone who could assist with architectural drawings/planning in relation to the extension work. This was supposed to be sent to my mum the following day. Nothing was received so my mum had to chase it up. On this phone call she mentioned that she hadn't received the quote either and was told she'd have this within a couple of weeks. After that point she heard nothing else from them again! I strongly suspect that they felt my mum's money wasn't good enough for them. My mum has now spent 40k elsewhere.

  Contacted this company in 2021 for an estimate/quote for a kitchen, utility, bathroom, ensuite and downstairs toilet. Waited approx three weeks for a site visit, fair enough. I was left with various brochures etc. After that, I heard no more......well until around six weeks later when I received a call asking if I was still interested. I was at that point, but then heard no more. I gave the work to companies that could be bothered to get back to me. I'd give no stars if I could.

  I requested a visit to my home after the company were recommended by my neighbours to make a downstairs cloakroom. I am happy to go ahead after discussing the work which needs to be done and impressed with the information given to me.

The team has been really easy to work with and has managed the whole project seamlessly. At each step we’ve benefited from their experience and expertise to help make practical and design decisions while being given the space to make choices which fit our home. We’re now just excited to see the finished product!

  I cannot recommend The Home Design Studio highly enough. They have helped me turn my house into a home. Due to financial restrictions it has taken me 15 years to achieve this but it’s been great to work not only with the same company but also with the same tradesmen - I don’t think such staff loyalty can be found in many other businesses. The work is always completed to a high standard and we have never had cause for complaint. Any niggles we may have had have been resolved quickly and without fuss.

  Can't recommend this company enough!! Everything was perfect to the point I'm not sure where to begin! After receiving the quote the price seemed very reasonable considering the work that needed to be done, the staff both on the phone and on site were polite, courteous and professional. Never had to chase anything up and the work carried out was done quickly and efficiently! Absolutely love our new bathroom which looks straight out of a showroom. Any future work that is required, The Home Design Studio will be the first place I go to.
