    It is impossible to book an appointment with them. I have been trying for months by calling at 8am (whenever I can), and I never get anyone to pick up the phone so I can get one of the slots they apparently offer. Then, someone from the staff said to book online as this would be easier. I did the whole process of register online, not easy at all, even for me as someone comfortable with technology, and after this the process is EXACTLY THE SAME! I need to go online at 8am to try to book a slot. This is completely absurd as I work everyday at 8am so have to take time off work to go on the russian roulette of trying to be offered a slot! I am writing a formal complaint as I would like some clarification on why there is only the 8am possibility to book an appointment, and even when I've tried that it does not work!

    Been with this doctors surgery since 2019 and it is truly the best. Never had a bad experience - booking appointments can be a little frustrating but I have always felt that the care from doctors has been thorough, the reception staff are all lovely and very helpful and the nurses have always been empathetic and knowledgeable. Thank you!!!

    I'd like to leave this review to praise the fantastic work of Dr. Jimmy Lam. I can truly say that he is the best GP I have ever met. His warmth, empathy and commitment to providing the best care are rare qualities alongside his deep knowledge and competence. Dr. Lam goes above and beyond to help, investing time in resarching solutions that go beyond the immediate protocols that most doctors would rely on. He thinks outside the box, a clear sign of intelligence and he is truly committed to improving the lives of his patients. I am grateful to him as I am sure that to deliver the quality of care he delivers, he must put extra hours, motivated by genuine care for people.

Not sure if she hires the other reception members but I imagine so- they are almost always really great too. Thank you it is truly appreciated.

    I have been with Muswell Hill Practice for a couple of year. They called me 3 times in 3 different occasions within the past 2 year to tell me my smear test was due, but only when I went in, and they checked the National Database, we all find out I was not actually due. On the 3rd attempt I got my smear test done. This week I also got a telephone consultation, and blood tests were requested by the doctor. The doctor hasn’t explained how the appointment for the blood test would have got booked. I called the hospital to find out that is the surgery that does the bookings, therefore I called the surgery, and they told me an email / message would have been sent out shortly for me to book a blood test slot at the hospital. I didn’t receive anything therefore I called the surgery again. Just then, they explained me that the message takes 24-48 hours to be sent out, and that I had to wait. They then called me, saying that on their system my email address was unclear, and that was causing the delay, therefore they asked me to confirm my email address for then sending a message on my phone instead in regard to the blood test booking! I have no complains in regard to the nurse that did the smear test or the doctor but the surgery lack of organisation and communication skills that is part of the patient care in primary care. On a different note, the door of the surgery, with outdoors opening, can get dangerous for elderly people.
