FAQ

How do you ensure the safety and well-being of youth members during events and activities?

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our youth members by implementing strict protocols and guidelines for all events and activities. We conduct thorough risk assessments and provide adequate supervision by trained adults. We also ensure that all our volunteers and staff members undergo background checks and are trained in child protection policies and procedures.

How do you allocate your funding and what percentage goes towards program expenses?

As a non-profit organization, we allocate our funding in a responsible and transparent manner. We ensure that the majority of our funding goes towards program expenses such as events, activities, and training for our youth members. We also allocate a portion of our funding towards administrative and operational expenses to ensure the smooth running of our organization.

Can you provide examples of past successes and the impact your organization has made?

Over the years, we have had numerous success stories and impactful moments within our organization. Some examples include successfully organizing a charity event that raised thousands of pounds for a local hospital, providing education and mentorship opportunities for our youth members, and facilitating interfaith dialogue between different communities.

What opportunities do you offer for spiritual growth and education?

We offer a range of opportunities for spiritual growth and education, including regular lectures and workshops on Islamic topics, Quranic studies, and mentorship programs with qualified scholars. We also encourage our youth members to participate in community service projects and volunteer work to develop their character and foster a sense of civic responsibility.

What is the cost of membership or participation in your youth clubs?

We strive to make our youth clubs accessible to all members of the community regardless of their financial situation. Therefore, our membership fees and participation costs are kept at a minimum and are often waived for those who cannot afford them. We rely on donations and sponsorships to fund our programs and activities.

This mosque is amazing and it’s in town so you can pray while out easily. There’s a lot of resources for reverts or people thinking of reverting as well I got a bunch of books for my friend from here you just have to ask the imam! There’s a women section and they also provide free iftar in Ramadan.

I have been offering my Friday prayers in this centre regularly since December 2021. It is located in a convenient location at the heart of Manchester but the problem is that always the Imam leads the Friday prayer very late - much late than what is in their schedule. Imam needs to be very punctual. This is a serious issue and both the Imam & the management of the centre must notice this.
