Lovely food and friendly staff, great interiors but above a large outdoor space in the best location, in a big park with views on sandstone

Had lunch here . Sunny day Enjoyed sitting in the shaded 'marquee ' Wide menu. Food is adequate, but quite expensive for the quality Couldn't describe it as Gourmet

Lunch with friends, a very enjoyable experience. Great setting with excellent food and attentive service. We chose to eat outside in the sideless marquee as the weather was warm and sunny and the situation delightful. This was our second visit and won't be our last.

Great food, great service and location is excellent when dining outside. It is all under cover with heaters so warm even in winter. Have only eaten there, living locally no need to stay there.

Went for a drink on a Thursday evening. The bar was busy but not crowded so we got to sit in the room built jntk yhe rocks. Very atmospheric. The beer was pretty good too. Noteworthy details: The main reason for going was the bar built into the rock, which was impressive but we'd have enjoyed it anyway.

We enjoyed a superb post-wedding meal here in June 2023. Every course for everyone was delicious, drinks were great and the service was excellent. The music was even turned off when we were giving our speeches which was especially kind. The setting is pretty, and we were in a gazebo which had clear side panels which were opened when it got warmer, which was all ideal. Highly recommended!
