A wet Thursday lunchtime and what a relief to go into the glamourously styled restaurant. A little quiet because of a fire and a car accident in town so they'd had some cancellations. The food was peerless. A sticky glazed piece of pork belly with the most delicious pickled ginger, followed by the lamb with boulangere potatoes and local asparagus. I just need Mr Purnell to consider opening a similar venture in Herefordshire!
