What types of vehicles are typically sold at your auctions?

At The Motor Auction Group Rotherham, we sell a variety of vehicles including cars, boats, and motorcycles. Our inventory may change from auction to auction, so it is best to check our website or contact us directly to see what vehicles are currently available.

Can I inspect the vehicle before bidding on it?

Yes, we encourage all potential buyers to inspect the vehicles before placing a bid. We offer an inspection period before the auction begins, and you can also schedule a private inspection with one of our team members.

What is the bidding process like, and how can I participate?

Our bidding process is simple. You can participate in person at our physical auction or online through our website. To place a bid, you will need to register as a bidder and provide a valid form of identification. During the auction, bids will be accepted and the highest bidder will win the vehicle.

Are there any additional fees or hidden costs associated with purchasing a vehicle at your auction?

No, we pride ourselves on being transparent about all costs associated with purchasing a vehicle at our auction. The only additional fees you may incur are standard auction fees such as a buyer's premium or registration fee, which will be clearly outlined before the auction.

Do you offer any warranties or guarantees on the vehicles sold at your auction?

No, we do not offer any warranties or guarantees on the vehicles sold at our auction. Don’t quite know why but was totally ignored whilst trying to bid on a car , the people around me were watching on in disbelief! Seems to me that some bidders get better treatment than others !!

Worst auction house ever, I have been in the trade for over 20 years - they managed to setup a new account and I purchased a used 2019 Lexus for £20k - was £300 below cap and a grade 2. Upon delivery, terrible paintwork - had a front corner smash and badly repaired, washer bottle leaking, TPMS light always on due to no alloy wheel sensor fitted - oh and a bucked alloy. Spoke to MAG, and a manager there who told me that cars are sold as is! All I can do is warn anyone looking to buy from that platform - STAY AWAY - better to pay silly BCA prices at least their grading system is not that bad! Reading previous reviews, yes MAG fake bid on their own cars, say sold and then re appear - DO NOT TRUST THESE GUYS

A busy auction with a good amount of cars available. If your a buyer who needs needs delivery their service is good but you are better of collecting yourself or by a 3rd party within 3 days, read the T&Cs for all details. The staff are efficient and friendly

If it were possible to give no stars or a minus 100 would do. Their fee's even to the trade are a total rip off! Cars are way too expensive they bid themselves off the backwall and in their office too. Some of the vehicles are not fit for purpose they try and baffle people with their t's and c's in essence just a scam operating in plane site. Known to turn off engine lights etc very naughty how Trading Standards has not closed it down by now baffles me?
