Spam, I am getting tons of emails from these guys daily! Ended up unsubscribing as the clickbait was too much. Made a couple of investments based on their articles, which are performing awfully 4 weeks later. I know it's at my own risk, the articles are opinion only blah blah. But the point is, why would you bother paying a subscription for something in that case? There are other free resources out there that do the same thing.

Seems to just be a service to sell you more services... Picks have performed terribly and are highly suspect at times. Better services out there

Used to have a subscription and while initially seemed ok I mostly started receiving more spam about a service I already had rather than actual advice. UK arm seems to be a mess compared to the US one that a friend showed me. In some cases I started finding the same advice on other sites and almost word for word in some cases...these were free ones so I cancelled my subscription WELL in advance but money was taken. Luckily my card company intervened quickly and I got refund after a bit of a fight. In summary AVOID...at least the UK subscription anyway. The USA arm website seems a lot more concise and professional.

Take it from someone who has learnt the hard way that these guys are nothing but scammers with a good grasp of English who word their articles in a way that essentially means nothing meaningful, they post 2 articles for and 1 against weekly for the same company, some of their strongest signals to buy include THG, CGC, Shopify, if you are considering buying a stock you will always find an article that screams buy as the logic (2 for and 1 against) naturally means they will be right sometimes but overall I have being seriously burned by following some of their nonsense, Im pretty sure they remove some of the older articles where it’s clear the advise given was nothing more than embarrassing such as THG.

It can be a useful source of ideas and information. The basic strategy they espouse - of investing in good quality companies for the long term - is really good. However it tends to be a scattergun approach: lots of positivity about investing in the stock market, rather than the very carefully thought out reports on other websites like Investors’ Chronicle. I use both as a source of ideas.
