This cost double what I pay in Central London but not even half as good. But my gel manicure was terrible. My fingers were bleeding in two places. My cuticles were barely touched. The gel was lumpy and lifted in numerous places. I had to have it removed and redone somewhere else two days later. The rating is only as high as it is because the staff were all lovely (even though I was late for reasons outwith my control).

Lovely staff, very much care about their clients wellbeing and were so kind asking throughout if I needed or wanted anything to drink and checking if I was OK during the appointment. Individual big thanks to the lady who did my hollywood wax she was so kind, listened to me, was happy to talk and comfort me if needed and also the lady who did my other waxing treatments booked, bless her she made sure I was gonna be OK getting home. My partner purchased me a massage at Envy for a christmas gift. I had not been to Envy before and I can often feel a little nervous about going to new salons for treatments, however, the service I received from start to finish was first class. For a salon in town, there is lots of parking locally. When I arrived at the salon I was made to feel very welcome. The massage was very relaxing and took place in a lovely, relaxing setting. Had a mens facial today. Absolute brilliant experience, felt very welcomed from the minute I walked through the door by the front of house to meeting the beautician who carried out my treatment. I was very pleased with the results my face feels amazing really really satisfied with the treatment I had today. The atmosphere and the client and provider relationship was first class. Little bit of friendly banter which I love. all in all excellent experience and will definitely be going back for another facial. What I really liked too it has its own dedicated treatments for the male user which is unique and neche compared with other places I researched in York.
