Warm scones, clotted cream and Frank Sinatra playing in the background... Just a dream!!! We have been there last summer, you were about to close but you let us sit anyway, as a result, the tea room all for us❤️! It was definitely worth it!! The best scones and clotted cream we have ever tasted and the place is lovely! Thank you and sorry for the late review.

The waitor said it was quiet on Sundays and boy was he right (though the other cafes weren't). Awful atmosphere. Waited over 30mins for a toasted sandwich and such a awful jacket potato. Each served on the same small sized size plate with old salad. Everyone was leaving their dried up looking cakes on the plates so didn't try those! Really wanted afternoon tea but given this and the tiny scone served to the lady next to us - we exited fast and went elsewhere!

I wanted my dad to experience traditional British food, so I ate and drank afternoon tea with him. It fixed our strained relationship and created newfound appreciation for each other. Or at least it might have if our relationship was strained at all, but it isn't, I'm just theorizing. I love my dad and I think more people should tell their parents they love them. I also think more people should know about this tea room (but not too many because else there'll be no more room for me)
