It was our first visit to the vet in haxby and it was very clean the receptionist was very friendly with my dog and me, the vet was very good with my dog, she had a great approach and manner explained everything to me clearly would recommend minster vet to everyone

The best vets, always so caring and considerate. The vets are really down to earth at the Haxby practice and make you feel so welcome. Wonderful receptionist who really cares. When we had to get our dog put to sleep they made this so personable and we couldn't thank them enough.

I took my dog in for her yearly booster and when I tried to weigh her she slipped on the weighing scale and wouldn't get back on, the friendly receptionist helped me to coax her back on and held her calmly while we got her weight. I was seen straight away after that fir her yearly booster and checkup and was worried about a growth on her leg that was getting bigger. The vet explained that it would be advisable to get it taken off and checked and explained in full the procedure, including afterwards. I got booked in to the surgery the following week, extremely quick (less than a week). So am now awaiting this fairly straightforward operation. The only worry is how to tell my lab she's not getting a breakfast haha. Otherwise I was extremely relaxed about the whole visit. Very professional and friendly.
