Bedrooms average, fairly spartan, reasonable tea and coffee making facilities. Evening meals atrocious, Arancini totally undercooked, returned to kitchen. Caesar Salad served with curdled dressing, returned to kitchen. Basic cod and chips ruined by overcooked chips in their skins. Replacement meal for the Caesar Salad was Hake (overcooked) with potatoes (completely undercooked). Don’t eat here!

After having a lovely stay at The Mill I booked a weekend away for my daughter and husband as a Christmas gift. I was disappointed to hear of their experience. I paid for a Superior room with a zip and link bed. The bed wasn't zipped and linked! My daughter almost fell between the beds as they were just two singles pushed together! Thank goodness she wasn't heavily pregnant or disabled. Also, they didn't want a big breakfast so asked for a bacon sandwich. This was refused! Bread and bacon were available, but it was refused. As a result they had no breakfast. Not very customer focused! I emailed the Mill 3 days ago and still have not had a response! Same as another customer who left a review who didn't have a good experience ! Also, I was asked to fill in a survey after our stay and they would give us a 20% discount on a future booking. The discount of 10% was given! Very disappointing! Walkability: Lovely area to walk dogs
