Staff are rude, unhelpful and patronising. If you need a doctor’s appointment you have to phone up at 8am and then hold for half an hour and by the time you get through the call queue they’re probably already gone. Staff are far more concerned with making sure all the paperwork is done properly than about patient care. Do not bother to register at this surgery.

My Neice has to phone then 288 times just to get through to make an appointment. The problem isn’t the GP’s, not the staff but just the fact we have exactly the same number of GP’s now as we had thirty years ago. You’ve got to ask the question “Are we winding down the NHS”?

For three weeks i have been working through the anexity to phone up for an appointment, at 8am sharp as i have been told to do. Today i phone 54 times within 15 minutes in hops of finally getting one, after much frustrating and getting "line busy" then the call cuts off i get through, to find there are yet again, no more appointments and that i should try again tomorrow. Why do i have to play the god damn lottery to make an appointment, why is the queue to join the call not longer than 3 people long before your automatically cut to "line busy" this is huge problem and its only getting worse. 54 times.. pathetic.

Sadly one of the WORST surgeries I've ever been with. Not all staff members let the team down, (there are some diamonds in the rough), but most do. Doctors and nurses are short and dismissive; I have also been accused of lying by medical staff about symptoms and their causes, accusations which cost valuable time in getting a serious diagnosis. Their modes of operation and opening times are unclear and sub-par at best, their patient aftercare and information provision is abysmal and all but I believe two of the receptionists/office staff always seem to have far more interesting and important things going on, as well as being fantastic at mishandling information. Awful surgery.

We always get an appointment whenever my son is ill. The receptionist (I think I normally talk to Sue?) is very understanding, trying to fit a very poorly young patient in, even if it is an emergency appointment in the afternoon. The doctors are kind and professional. Thank you for all you do.
