This is a service that we had no idea about, yet we're so glad they were recommended by 'Final Rest' vet as they were so caring & understanding. Pacha was put to sleep at our home on 1st May, and then The Meadows planned her cremation for 3rd May. We were able to visit that morning to say our final goodbye & the team were so caring & gave us so much time, comfort & support. It couldn't be any less clinical, and felt like they really do understand how much a pet means to you. They made Pacha look cosy & comfortable, she was presented with fresh flowers & clean blankets. We were reassured that they would be looking after her, it felt very personal. Nothing was rushed, and we couldn't have asked for a better way to say goodbye. We left Pacha's favourite toy with her, and they did offer the chance to cremate the toy with her too. We were able to collect her ashes the following day, and again this wasn't rushed & again felt very personal. Although it's a day you wish would never come, knowing she was cared for by the team at The Meadows definitely gave us comfort during an incredibly difficult time. We can't thank you enough for giving Pacha the final journey that she deserved, because as we know pets are family. You'll never know how much being able to say that final goodbye meant to us. Words can’t describe the pain and heartache we’ve had to endure while saying goodbye to our beautiful little girl Rosie. James and the team at the meadow crematorium were out of this world, and helped bring comfort to us in such a difficult time. Every request I put forward was met, from the keep sakes to the collection of our girl. The little touches to the memory wall was absolutely beautiful, these guys are a real credit to their industry while at the same time doing what I would call a very difficult job. Words can't actually explain the peace and kindness and love they showed to my beloved Nettle and the comfort that Lisa brought to us at such a sad time. Lisa just understood. She just 'got it'. We came away feeling settled in our hearts that Nettle our cat of 17.5 years cat wasn't making her final journey alone. She had Lisa to hold her paw. I collected her ashes the next day and the presentation was so beautiful, personal and so much care and attention had gone into representing Nettle and it made all the difference to us. Thankyou doesn't seem enough.

Very helpful from when I first called as our cat of 16 years passed away. They were very compassionate from the time dropping our cat off, giving us time with her in a separate room.
