So after 61 yrs with this practice have finally left . No one bothered to ask why of course. The Matthews Practice named after an amazing doctor who would be turning in his grave at the service now provided. The reception staff are still amazing but unfortunately Dr Chetty lets the practice down. Forgets that you are in fact his customer and talks to you like a 4 yr old child . Put me through amazing stress when trying to sort out my driving licence (which affects my livelihood ) for sleep apnea. Assumed he was right and failed to listen until the Sleep Clinic finally put him right. Such a shame that what has over the years been a great practice has now been reduced to this . Looking at other reviews maybe it’s time to listen

This surgery is a disgrace Dr Garrison chatty is a pathetic compulsive lier and disgrace to his profession I am surprised to notice no action has been taken against dr garrison chatty from NHS Dr Garrison chatty is playing with peoples life, he uses every lopehole he can find to cover himself up This surgery will only see a patient as last resolution Dr chatty will lie to you and push you away by arguing with you You will be extremely lucky to get an appointment and if you do succeed the it will be to no.avail

This practice is diabolical. From never getting calls back, to Dr's refusing to send referral letters, regarding children as they "see it as a waste of there time" I'm not the kind of person to leave reviews but I don't want anyone having to suffer the way my family has. Dr G Chetty is the rudest man in existence. Don't use this practice.

I was with this practice from 2014 along with my husband. We had 4 doctors and nurses when we joined. Dr weir was very good. Dr Chatti is now our Doctor and he is the reason we have left the surgery. We have been on the verge of leaving after issues with Dr Abbas. But the the worst is Dr Chatti. He has forced us to leave. He is rude, arrogant , dismissive and when I eventually talked my husband into getting a health test he interrogated him to the the point he changed his mind! I had bad experiences but we have left now so I am just happy I am away.

I am registered at White Lane. I am disabled & using a wheel chair but they don't know this as they won't see me. When I phone they say I have to go to Belgrave. I cannot afford the taxi so no care for me for many years. Avoid if you are considering!

Well what can I say ? ... After 30 years I will be leaving this practice ... Can never get through, then when you do they say you'll get a call off a doctor and instead get a message 8hrs later saying they've tried calling but clearly haven't as no missed call and the phone has been free all day (known this to have happened to other people as well) ... And as far as Dr Chetty .. the man is repulsive! Wish I'd recorded the phone conversation I had with him a 5 months ago. He'd be sacked!! Clearly from some of the other comments people have mutual feelings about him aswell ... My only praise is for Dr Abbas. Brilliant and understanding doctor.
