Fails to deliver or lives up to her many promises, after 4 and a half months and a £2000 fee, Lara terminated my contract, without refund because I shared a profile sent to me with a friend, despite gushing reports of how she headhunts to find suitable dates, the 3 profiles I was offered were all from other dating agencies. I was told she had been speaking to these lovely people all week, yet when I asked their ages and locations, she couldn’t tell me and had to email the other agencies, strange as I would of thought if she had spoken to them, it might of been a question most people would of asked, seems to only be contactable via what’s app and lives her life in meetings and on tv and radio shows, monthly updates were just a 2 line what’s app message, seems to talk at you rather than to you and never seems to want to listen to you.

I've met Lara right before opening her agency, and ever since she's been stellar with her service. I got to interact with her team a bit as well, and all's been nothing but a pleasure. The cost can be a bit peppery but if you're serious about dating (and if you're a busy person with limited time), you're actually saving money by not wasting your time with loads of scams, catfishing and low-level dates on those usual dating apps.

I was referred to Lara by a work colleque about 3 months ago, and I have no experience of working with a Matchmaker or a Dating Agency. Somewhat embarrassed about having to instruct others to fix my appalling dating history! From the first moment I spoke to Lara along with her team, I knew I was in safe hands. The first meeting was an introduction to their service, and Lara explained all options and most importantly THE PRICE! Matchmakers are not cheap....and I had looked at all the other websites in London, and I was drawn to The Matchmaker UK website and the information. After the intial meeting, I met the team and they organised for a stylist and photography and created a profile for me. TBH I hate having my photo taken but their photographer Paul is amazing! After two weeks, I received my first match, I wasn' t keen so we moved to the next suggestion and I agreed to go on the date. The chap was lovely but I wasn't too smitten, and so it went on for a few months! Then last week they introduced me to an incredible chap who lived an hour from me in London, we met and it was a lovely experience, and we are going on our second date after Easter. I have thoroughly enjoyed the experience, what a whirlwind! I highly recommend Lara and The Matchmaker UK especially if like me, at 42 you were ready to give up!!!
